Foundation slab reinforcement drawings
Careful structural detailing is essential to the performance of reinforced concrete. Xplan, d.o.o. prepares reinforcement drawings that communicate the designed reinforcement clearly for procurement and construction.
We coordinate the drawings with the structural calculations, the geometry of the concrete elements and the requirements of the wider project.
Reinforcement for slabs, beams, walls, columns and foundations
These elements carry and transfer actions through the structure. Their reinforcement must be designed and detailed to suit the structural behaviour, geometry and construction requirements. We use 3D modelling to coordinate reinforcement, including more complex shapes and connections.
Foundation slabs and foundations
Foundations transfer actions from the structure into the ground. Their design and detailing must therefore take account of the structural analysis and the relevant ground information. We prepare reinforcement drawings and details for the agreed foundation solution, with attention to clear execution and efficient use of materials.

Send us the available plans and describe the structure and reinforcement documentation required. We will contact you to discuss the design scope.
How reinforcement drawings are prepared
We review the project information and technical requirements, complete or review the relevant structural calculations, and develop the reinforcement layout. The drawings and schedules are coordinated with the concrete geometry and the other design disciplines. We discuss the solution with the client and project team before completing the agreed package.
What should you know?
It is a detailed drawing showing the type, position and arrangement of reinforcing steel in concrete members such as foundations, slabs, walls and columns. It communicates the designed bar sizes, spacing, anchorage and other relevant details for construction.
We combine structural engineering experience with 3D modelling to coordinate reinforcement and review the details. Reinforcement schedules identify the required bars, dimensions and quantities, helping the client and contractor plan procurement and execution.
Clear drawings help the contractor install the reinforcement as designed, support checking on site and reduce avoidable construction errors. They also help coordinate material quantities and resolve details before the concrete is placed.
Reinforcement drawings within the structural PZI design
Reinforcement drawings form part of a coordinated structural construction package. If you need drawings for a foundation slab, foundations or other reinforced concrete elements, contact XPLAN to discuss the available information, design responsibilities and scope of documentation.
